Christian Dating Right or Wrong

Today more and more people are finding it hard to find a mate through the traditional methods. At one point Christian dating consisted of people going to bars and other social gatherings to meet people. They also met through friends. However, over time things have changed. With the increased use of the internet people have found a different way of dating. Christian dating today consists of people sitting in front of computer, typing in a name and meeting both men and women online who they have a relationship with.

There are those who think that this form of christian dating is wrong and people should get away from the computer and get out a meet people. However there are others who think, what better way to meet hundreds of people at the same time then by entering a chat room and talking to everyone at the same time. People have found future spouses and mates on the internet.

There are Christian dating services that will help you to find your soul mate. These companies will contact you and interview you to find out about you as a person. They will record all information and enter it into a data base. The company will then try to find a person who matches what you want and who has similar interests as you. The company will then contact both parties and will arrange a date. This is kind of like a blind date as in most cases you don’t know your date until you meet them on the day of the arranged date.

Christian dating also consists of people going on reality televisions shows to find to find their mate. This form of dating is becoming more and more popular all the time. In this form Christian dating is a little different, instead of dating one person at a time, people are dating multiple persons in an attempt to find the one that is perfect for them. Over the course of a specific period of time, people get eliminated until the perfect couple is found.

Are Interracial dating wrong for a Christian?
It never mention in the Bible. But I am about to ask a white girl from my church out. Keep in mind I am Asian American Japanese/Chinese to be exact. Do you think her parent will think I’m weird since I’m Asian and not white?

Nope, just tell them you’re not exactly a white, I’m sure they’ll understand. Does she like you? Tell her to ask her parents about what they feel about her dating you, all the best!

No it isnt wrong all the Bible says is to date christians too. Race doesnt matter becasue God loves us all the same and He doesnt notice our color or race. Good luck with the girl! =]

interracial dating is not wrong for a christian. Christians arent just white you know!

put it like this…im asian, my girlfriend is white..her parents hate me!

why? they told me because i am not white.

its a tough world, people today may claim they arent racist, but in a perfect world…

every white american family wants their white daughter to date/marry a white guy who preferbly drives a mercedes or a mustang and plays football!

I don’t think so, but is this question actually about race or religion or both?, because you are talking about interracial dating in the bible. Note that race and religon are two different things.

Anyway, if you two are of different races the parents are less likely to care than if you are of two different religons. Unless her parents are Triple Ks or Nazis

On the contrary, it is mentioned in the Bible on multiple occasions. People interracially married in the Bible all the time. The only thing the Bible warns against is the possibility of cultural difference influencing your religious beliefs. If you safeguard against that or have similar religious beliefs already, then it is not a problem.

God does not see what man sees, He sees through to the heart. I don’t think it should be a problem that your asian and she is white, if her parents are Christian then it should just matter if your a man after God’s own heart. Pray about it and ask her out. I hope it goes well, good luck ;)

Dating in the modern sense is wrong for a Christian:
